I saw Ghost World today. It's a spectacular movie. I highly recommend that you view it when it comes to a theater near you. The cast and the script are superb. According to sources, there isn't any sort of explanation as to what the title means. But the story is about a group of characters that are marginalized from society, so much that they are almost invisible -- they seem to operate their lives on a plane of existence separate from the rest of the people around them. Their marginalization doesn't end with society: although they are friends, the characters can't help but create rifts between each other.

I saw a red Acura on the freeway, and I'm having difficulty deciding which was classier about it: the giant Pepsi(tm) wave logo that emblazened the rear windshield or the license frame that read BITCH SHUT THE FUCK UP.
