While my favorite celebrity sighting took place on Monday when I saw Amanda Foreman at the Prom -- she is responsible for the most moving acting moment in the history of F-City -- the ULTIMATE Celebrity Sighting of All Time has got to be from my commute home tonight, driving along side Mr. Kato Kaelin on Sunset!!
Damn I'm going to miss L.A.( 04:26 PM )
From Dark Horizons:
Liz Taylor Returns: The New York Post reports that Elizabeth Taylor is trying to lure Doris Day out of retirement in Carmel to make a movie which would be their "one last hurrah!" (Yes, Miz Liz is said to have used those words.) Doris, happy with her animals, says she is "interested but wants to see a script".
I HAD NO IDEA DORIS DAY WAS STILL ALIVE.Thursday, July 15, 2004

I don't know how you feel about this, but the Guns n' Roses version of "Live and Let Die" has got to be one of the most random covers of all time.
Or should it be called "Live n' Let Die"?

Cheney on the mysterious Iraq-Al Qaeda link that was used by the administration to justify war (from the LA Times):
Speaking hours after Hussein's pretrial hearing in a Baghdad courtroom, Cheney accused the former dictator of sending a brigadier from the Iraqi intelligence service to Sudan in the early 1990s to train Al Qaeda bomb makers and forgers.
…In addition to supporting Palestinian terrorists, Hussein in the early 1990s dispatched the intelligence official to Sudan to assist Al Qaeda in "bomb making and concurrent forgery," Cheney said.
Whoa! It’s a good thing we invaded when we did! Ten years too late, guys. If you ask me, this is not nearly a strong enough case to put people I know in the paths of bullets.
My favorite:
Cheney has been a favorite target of Democrats, who have tried to connect his office to a series of no-bid contracts in Iraq awarded to the company he once headed, Halliburton. Cheney has denied a link between his past employment and the contracts.
So according to Dick, I’m supposed to believe that the Iraq-Al Quaeda “link” is worth invading Iraq and killing thousands over and that there is NO CONNECTION between him and his old workplace? Give me a big fat fucking break.
