Saturday, July 26, 2003 ( 05:25 PM ) Saw Bad Boys 2 this afternoon. It was awesome. Now, usually, I despise Michael Bay and everything he stands for. And I still do. But you simply cannot get any better than Martin Lawrence and the Fresh Prince. They are hilarious. All the car chases and explosions get to be masturbatory at a certain point, but you get used to it. And seriously -- was it really necessary for Michael Bay to put himself in the movie? Asshole. Thursday, July 24, 2003 ( 10:52 PM ) New TV Week breakdown: Nip/Tuck (FX): An incredible pilot, but I don't know if I will continue to watch the rest of the season. It's kind of nice right now, not having too many shows that I must watch on a weekly basis (House Hunters and Insomniac are plenty). I highly suggest that everyone out there in TVville watch, though. Reno 911! (Comedy Central): So-so premiere episode. It's one of those shows that could either get funnier and funnier or just lose all its steam at once. I shan't find out, because I probably won't watch regularly. We finished the Season 2 DVD set over the weekend, and now I find myself singing the Evil Cartman song (see below) every ten minutes and whenever something goes wrong, I instinctively say "awrh!" like the boys. In my opinion, at least. 1. Latinos that drive 1970s Buicks, Cadillacs, or Oldsmobiles are the shit. 2. Chicks that drive muscle cars are hott. 3. Black guys in giant pickup trucks are cooler than all hell. 4. Asians that drive minivans simply rule. Like the Asian guy I saw yesterday, tearing shit UP in a Previa.
